2027 RPS Bundled REC Sales RFP
Overview
As authorized by D.25-12-025, San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek offers from third parties interested in purchasing 2027 Portfolio Content Category 1, or PCC 1, REC product from eligible renewable resources under contract with SDG&E.

The intended term is the full 2027 calendar year; however, if the start date occurs after January 1, 2027, the term will be limited to the remaining balance of the 2027 calendar year. No other term lengths will be considered. |

Volume: |
Respondents may submit bids for either or both of the following: i)Exhibit A: A percentage of the resources’ total actual 2027 generation. See the protocol document for the historical generation output for the resources for 2023, 2024, and 2025. Bids must be submitted in ten percent (10%) increments, up to one hundred percent (100%) of the resources’ total actual 2027 generation. The final delivered quantity will equal the awarded percentage multiplied by the resources’ actual 2027 generation. (ii) Exhibit B: A firm quantity up to 200,000 RECs; the minimum acceptable bid is 25,000 RECs. |

RFP Schedule
The following are the key deadlines that apply to this RFP. SDG&E reserves the right to revise this schedule at any time and at SDG&E's sole discretion. Respondents are responsible for accessing the RFP website for updated schedules and possible amendments to the RFP or the solicitation process.
