Due to high fire risk weather conditions affecting your community, SDG&E has turned off power to reduce the risk of wildfire. We understand that being without power can be difficult and we appreciate your patience during this time. Please take precautions and know that we are here to support you throughout this period.

Your safety is our top priority during these high fire-risk conditions.

What you need to know:

  • Once high fire-risk weather conditions have passed, we will begin the restoration process by inspecting the power lines to ensure they are safe to operate. Our crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to restore service. However, if hazardous conditions continue or significant repairs are required, outages may last longer.
  • To support you, a Community Resource Center (CRC) will open where you can charge small electronics, get water and snacks, and find real-time outage information.
  • Be prepared to activate your personal family emergency plan, if needed.
  • If you have a backup generator, ensure it's safe and has enough fuel to last several days. Generator safety tips are available at sdge.com/Generator.
  • If you rely on uninterrupted power for your health and safety, or need assistance, please know additional support may be available by dialing 211 or 858-300-1211 for Video Relay Service (VRS).
  • If you see a downed power line, do not touch it. Assume it is energized and extremely dangerous. Report it immediately by calling 911.

For more information on estimated restoration times, resources, locations of nearby CRCs, and where to access electricity when a CRC is closed, visit sdge.com/Ready. Details can also be found in the Alerts by SDG&E app, or by calling us at 1-800-411-7343.

Thank you again for your continued patience as we work to keep our community safe.
