Working in Your Community to
Ensure Safe and Reliable Service

Every day, SDG&E crews inspect, maintain and patrol hundreds of miles of our gas and electric infrastructure to help ensure the delivery of safe and reliable energy to your neighborhood.

Community Safety

At SDG&E, safety is our number one priority—for our customers, our employees, and the communities we serve. Whether it’s conducting routine meter checks, patrolling for gas leaks, or trimming trees near power lines to reduce wildfire risk, our crews are hard at work every day to help keep your neighborhood safe and reliable.

You may occasionally see an SDG&E truck or team member in your area. If our equipment is located on your property, our crews may need access to ensure the work is completed safely and correctly.
