Due to forecasted high fire risk conditions in your area, SDG&E will likely need to shut off power for safety within the next 12 hours to reduce the risk of wildfire. Please take precautions and know that we are here to support you throughout this period.
We will provide regular updates until the risk has passed, or power has been restored.
What you need to know:
- Weather forecasts can change quickly, so please continue to monitor your phone and email for updates.
- If power is shut off, SDG&E crews will begin the restoration process as soon as conditions improve and it is safe to do so.
- We may open a Community Resource Center (CRC) in your area for charging small electronics, water, snacks, and real-time outage information.
- Consider preparing for an extended outage and reviewing your emergency plan with your household.
- If you have a backup generator, ensure it's safe and has enough fuel to last several days. Generator safety tips are available at sdge.com/Generator.
- If you rely on uninterrupted power for your health and safety, or need assistance, please know additional support may be available by dialing 211 or 858-300-1211 for Video Relay Service (VRS).
- We work to restore power as quickly and safely as possible once high fire risk conditions have subsided. However, if hazardous conditions continue or significant repairs are required, outages may last longer.
