Driver Enrollment
Does your employer, apartment or condo association offer electric-vehicle (EV) charging through one of SDG&E’s Power Your Drive programs like Power Your Drive for Apartments and Condos and Power Your Drive for Workplaces?
If you drive electric and have access to either program, you can enroll today to start enjoying the benefits of Power Your Drive:
- Conveniently charge your vehicle while at work or while you're at home sleeping
- Built for private use and not for the general public
- Customize price limits for charging your EV
Check with your site manager (who could be your property manager, landlord, facility manager or assigned representative) to determine if the chargers are set up as Rate to Driver (charging is paid for directly by the driver) or Rate to Host (charging is paid for by the site host who can choose to bill the driver).
Driver Enrollment instructions (Rate to Driver):
-
Enroll in Power Your Drive through My Energy Center. If you don’t have a My Energy Center account, you can register online here.
-
Contact your site manager to obtain your 8-digit Site ID #. This will begin with “MF” or “WP” followed by six numbers. The Site ID # is required to proceed with this step.
-
Once enrolled in My Energy Center, you will receive an email from ChargePoint with instructions on how to finalize enrollment. You will need to access the links in this email to complete your enrollment .
